Zesty, sweet and fruity but not funky, we reckon this coffee is an excellent gateway for those looking to explore fruity coffees. Makes an inviting morning espresso or long black.

For the geeks: Kayumbu Station is located in Rwanda's Nyamagabe District and has an interesting backstory in that it was built by the Rwandan army. It's no longer in military hands of course, and now services over 1000 local smallholder farmers. This particular lot is all Bourbon varietal grown between 1600-2100 MASL and was processed using the traditional natural process at the beginning of the harvest. The result is emblematic of Rwandan natural coffees: a zesty acidity with a thick juicy body and a sweet, fruity profile. Pro tip: Given the higher acidity of this coffee, The Roast Collective recommends against serving it with soy milk. Best served black or with full cream or oat milk.
