For the geeks: Los Etíopes Geisha is a 100% Geisha from Las Etíopes, a farm project led by Merlith Cruz in the high-altitude region of El Porvenir, Jaén (Cajamarca), Peru. Grown in cool mountain conditions, it reflects the elegance of Peru’s high-altitude terroir, enhanced by careful cultivation and refined processing. Coffee cherries are hand-harvested, rigorously sorted, and undergo extended fermentation and a fully washed process, followed by slow drying on raised beds to preserve clarity and sweetness. The cup is clean and expressive, with a delicate jasmine and honeysuckle floral profile, bright orange citrus in the hot cup, and a soft apricot sweetness as it cools.
