Did somebody say gateway coffee? We've got a classic one here from team Paradox and it's sure to fly off the shelf! We call fruity natural Ethiopians like this one "gateway coffees" because they're often people's first dalliance into fruity coffees and they have a solid conversion ratio to boot - everyone loves them! We reckon this one makes a cracking long black or a satisfying mid-morning latte. It won't disappoint!

For the geeks: Halo is one of the largest coffee growing areas in the Ethiopian Gedeb region and has a reputation for producing sought after high quality coffees, and this is an excellent example. The Halo Hartume Washing Station services 170 local smaller holder farmers whose coffees are grown between 1925 and 2110 MASL. This particular lot is a classic Ethiopian style natural - quickly delivered and promptly placed onto traditional raised African beds with regular turning to prevent rot and mould and promote even drying. The result is a complex, layered and expressive cup, with a gentle body, structured citrus acidity, defined fruity notes and that signature bergamot floral that coffees from this region are known for.
